LOCH VOSTOK Completes Work On New Album

March 17, 2008

Sweden's LOCH VOSTOK have completed work on their new album, due later in the year. The CD contains nine songs of "intricate lyricism." According to the band, "Teddy [Mller; vocals/guitar] and Fredrik [Klingwall; keyboards] spent weeks preparing the lyrical content by watching conspiracy theory-themed documentaries, true or not, interresting it is, and now we're fucked beyond belief, wearing tin foil hats just in case the government wanna read our thoughts."

Check out a new song, entitled "30 Years", on the band's MySpace page.

LOCH VOSTOK's sophomore album, "Destruction Time Again", was released in April 2006 via Escapi Music. The follow-up to 2004's "Dark Logic" (Magnetism/CD Maximum) featured guest appearances by Ron Jarzombek (SPASTIC INK, WATCHTOWER, MARTY FRIEDMAN),Lawrence Mackrory (ex-DARKANE, F.K.., ENEMYISUS) and Tina Gunnarsson, and was described by the band as "a mix between SOILWORK, KING DIAMOND, EMPEROR and FATES WARNING."
